Bret Frye, D.D.S.
Dr. Frye has provided quality dental care to Marietta area residents since 1992. After graduation from Warren High School, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio in 1988 followed by a dental degree from the Ohio State University in 1992. Upon graduation, Dr. Frye returned to his hometown area to begin his dental career in a partnership practice and in July zoos established his individual practice at its present location.
During his professional career, Dr. Frye has established his practice as a leading source for quality dental care. He is recognized not only for excellence in quality restorative, cosmetic and preventive care, but for sound business practices that make full use of the newest technologies in dentistry. Numerous hours of continuing education per year further promote his professional development in the fields of endodontics, periodontics, and restorative dentistry as well as incorporate the most recent advances in cosmetic dentistry and implant placement.
Currently, Dr. Frye is serving as Sub District 7 Representative for the Council on Communication and Public Service for the Ohio Dental Association and is committee co-chair for the Muskingum Valley Dental Society "Give Kids A Smile" program, dedicated to providing dental care to needy children in Southeastern Ohio. Locally, Dr. Frye is a board member for the Marietta Memorial Hospital Health Foundations, participates in the Marietta College Foster Parent Program and plays an active role for the American Cancer Society.
John Frye, D.D.S.
Dr. John Frye has been practicing dentistry with his brother since graduating from Ohio State University College of Dentistry in June of 2005. Dr. John Frye earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Chemistry from Denison University in 2001. Dr. John Frye is a Warren High School Graduate who always felt he wanted to return to the area if possible.
Since joining Frye Dental Group, LLC. Dr John Frye has obtained his Invisalign II Certification as well as has completed is CEREC Training.
Dr. john Frye is armed with the latest information and techniques in the dental industry. He also has logged may continuing education hours to expand his skills and keep informed on advancements.
Dr. John Frye is married to his wife Molly, also a Denison and Ohio State graduate and has twin sons Max and Tyler.
Sharon Rowsey, B.S., R.D.H., M.S.
Sharon is a registered dental hygienist with 33 years experience. Her primary role as a hygienist with Frye Dental Group LLC involves the prevention of oral diseases and the education of her patients in comprehensive oral care. As an experienced practitioner, her goal with every patient is to deliver quality, caring, professional care that will benefit him or her for a lifetime.
Sharon is originally from Gauley Bridge, West Virginia. She attended West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV where she completed a B.S. in Dental Hygiene. After graduation she joined the teaching staff at West Virginia Institute of Technology, Department of Dental Hygiene as Instructor and Clinical Coordinator. While there, she completed her M.S. in Vocational Technical Education Administration at Marshall University.
Since moving to the Marietta Ohio area, her career has been in private practice, having worked the last 15 years with Dr. Bret Frye. She is a past Continuing Education Chairman for the West Virginia Dental Hygienists’ Association and has worked with various state and local dental health programs.
Sharon lives in Parkersburg, West Virginia with husband, Howard and niece, Carley. She and her husband raise and show American Quarter Horses, having won various state and national awards, including an AQHA/Justin Rookie of the year title. She also enjoys spending time with her Australian Shepherds, Lily, Charley and Buttercup.
Kathy Wagner, R.D.H.
Kathy Wagner has been a clinical hygienist offering over 33 years of experience to our patients. Kathy plays a critical role in the discovery, surveillance and management of dental abnormalities in a clinical team setting. Her visual examinations, along with intra-oral camera, dental x-rays and diagnodent aid in the diagnosing process of dental decay. Palpaption of tongue, tissues, and neck help manage abnormalities with the earliest possible detection of oral changes.
Kathy has been an associate with Frye Dental Group LLC over 15 years. She is a lifetime resident of Marietta, Ohio. After graduating from Marietta High School, she became a certified dental assistant, graduating from WVU-Parkersburg, WV. She also attended WVU, in Morgantown, WV. She graduated Allegheny College in Cumberland, ND with an Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. After graduation, she returned to Marietta area to start her career. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to help our patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles. Her belief is to deliver excellent care, with realistic goals of obtaining optimal dental health.
